DoodleBots

We took advantage of  a rare morning home to try our hand at the project for a DoodleBot that we recently spotted online. All supplies came from Dollar Tree aside from the marker stash. Those have been following us for years.

Supplies:
  • Pool Noodle
  • Markers
  • Rubber Bands
  • Electric Toothbrushes
  • Doodle Pad

Instructions
  1. Hack pool noodle to just shorter than toothbrush
  2. Slide toothbrush into noodle
  3. Affix markers using rubber bands
  4. Position DoodleBot over paper, checking marker tips for even contact
  5. Turn DoodleBot on
  6. Vary marker colors and position for different results

Can we call this AP Art?

Should we frame our masterpieces?

Sometimes they draw circles, sometimes squiggly lines.

DoodleBot 2.0 will have googly eyes...
